Project BASIS

The Project BASIS is trying to exploit the life cycle of biomass in households.

„Ones trash is an others food.“

The aim is to incorporate microorganisms into households and is pointing on

the potential of fungi. BASIS is trying to break with peoples negativ association

to fungus. Encouraging people to use it´s potential and is showing the beauty

of nature.The Object  is provoking a further use in the future.

BASIS is incorporating the process of cultivating mushrooms in one Object.  It´s process is designed to aim after natures cycle of life. The Process is giving coffee grounds a second lifecycle by growing mushrooms on it.

It´s design is focused on seeing and getting to know the microorganism. So the relation to the microorganism will get different, seeking for a symbioses of human and nature.
